DONALD DUCK

This is a continued series of Disney characters requested by a co-worker of mine.  I have already made Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Woody, Dumbo, Bambi, Rabbit, Thumper, Jessie, Bullet, and Pooh.  This is pattern that I have come up with for Donald Duck.  There will be more Disney characters coming soon.

MATERIALS:
Worsted weight yarn:  White, gold, blue, black, light pink, and light blue.
E crochet hook
Polyester fiberfill
Tapestry needle

FEET (MAKE 2):
Rd 1: With gold, ch 7, sc in second ch from hook, sc in next 4 ch, 3 sc in next ch working around ch, working in free loops of foundation ch, sc in next 4 ch, 2 sc in next ch.  (14)
Rd 2: 2 sc in next sc, sc in next 4 sc, 2 sc in next 3 sc, sc in next 4 sc, 2 sc in next 2 sc.  (20)
Rd 3: sc in next sc, (2 sc in next sc, sc in next 4 sc) 3 times, 2 sc in next sc, sc in next 3 sc.  (24)
Rds 4-11: sc in each sc around.  (24)
Rd 12: (sc in next 2 sc, sc2tog) around.  (18)
Rd 13: (sc in next sc, sc2tog) around.  (12)
STUFF FEET MODERATELY.
Rd 14: sc2tog around.  (6)
Finish off leaving a long tail.  Weave tail through sc of Rd 14, pull tightly and secure.  Weave in ends.

LEGS (MAKE 2):
Rd 1: Ch 12, slip st in first ch to form ring, ch 1, sc in each ch around.  (12)
Rds 2-12: sc in each sc around.  (12)
Finish off.  Weave in ends.  Sew LEGS to FEET.  Stuff LEGS firmly.

ARMS (MAKE 2):
Rd 1: With white, 6 sc in magic ring.  (6)
Rd 2: 2 sc in each sc around.  (12)
Rds 3-5: sc in each sc around.  (12)
Rd 6: 3 sc in next 2 sc, sc in next 10 sc.  (16)
Rd 7: sc in each sc around.  (16)
Rd 8: (sc2tog) 4 times, sc in next 8 sc.  (12)
Rd 9: (sc2tog) twice, sc in next 8 sc.  (10)
Rds 10-22: sc in each sc around. (10)
Finish off.  Weave in ends.  Stuff ARMS firmly.

BODY:
WILL USE RDS 2-5 TO CONNECT THE LEGS AND RDS 19-21 TO CONNECT THE ARMS.

  5. Shouldn't there be 2 pieces to the beak? Picture shows 2, top and bottom.
